How we handle your data
Valid from 2 November 2026. Data controller: Azadi Invest AB, company reg. no. 556917-9699, Observatoriegatan 7, 113 29 Stockholm, Sweden. Contact: hej@colorkid.app.
What we store and why
- The waitlist: email, language and when you gave consent, so we can email you at the launch. Legal basis: consent.
- Your account: email, when you accepted the terms, and an encrypted login code in a cookie. Needed so you can log in and use your credits. Legal basis: contract.
- Credits and purchases: what you bought, when, and how many credits you have. Required for the service and by the Swedish Bookkeeping Act. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
- Tell your friends: who invited whom, so we can give you the reward. We never show you your friends’ addresses. Legal basis: contract.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe (Stripe Technologies Europe Ltd, Ireland), and by Klarna if you choose it. Card details never reach us. Stripe is an independent data controller for the payment and may process data outside the EU under the EU standard contractual clauses.
Where and for how long
- Account data is stored in a database within the EU (Frankfurt) for as long as you have the account.
- Purchases and receipts are kept for 7 years under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act, even if you delete the account.
- The waitlist is deleted no later than 12 months after the launch, or immediately when you ask us to.
- Login emails are sent through Resend. The website is run on Vercel.
Photos
When the book creator opens, uploaded photos are deleted after 30 days and are never used to train AI models. You confirm that you have consent from everyone shown in the photos.
Cookies
We only use necessary cookies: the login (ck_session), your language choice (ck_locale, 1 year) and, if you came through a friend’s link, who told you about us (ck_ref, 30 days). No cookies for tracking or advertising.
Your rights
You can at any time ask to see, correct, move or delete your data, and withdraw your consent. Email hej@colorkid.app. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
